THE CHALLENGE
Tech in Ghana is the only UK-Ghana platform of its kind.

The event is held twice a year, once in London and Accra, and brings together decision makers in government, telcos, fintechs, growth companies, the startup community, academia and multi-level investors under one roof.  Since launching in 2017, the event has featured over 550 speakers and hosted over 3000 attendees. 


Dimax has been the marketing agency for Tech in Ghana since 2020. The 2024 Accra Edition Campaign objectives focused on

  • Brand Awareness

  • Driving sponsor and exhibitor engagement

  • Conference ticket sales

WHAT WE DID 

We devised a marketing strategy focused on:

  • Innovative tactics and channels to improve brand awareness amongst new and global audiences - optimising YouTube and live streaming

  • Video Content that highlighted Founders & Next Generation Techies

  • Audience Segmentation - Segmented email comms to drive relevancy and interest

  • Online Webinars to drive thought leadership and amplify players within the ecosystem

  • Making website more dynamic - Early bird messaging, Partner form and downloadable brochure, New UX & UI for Agenda

  • Media Partnerships for Content dissemination and Content creation

 

RESULTS

  • Smashed ticket sale target by +66% 

  • 43 new partner and sponsor leads 

  • Built an online viewing audience of 1k+

  • Grew social media following by +15%
