THE CHALLENGE

Tech in Ghana is the only UK-Ghana platform of its kind. The event is held twice a year, once in London and Accra, and brings together decision makers in government, telcos, fintechs, growth companies, the startup community, academia and multi-level investors under one roof. 

Since launching in 2017, the event has featured over 300 speakers and hosted over 2000 attendees.

After continuous monitoring of the global pandemic both live events were cancelled to make way for a virtual event which was held on 27-28th October 2020. 

WHAT DID WE DO?
 

Devised and executed a digital marketing strategy to drive global registrations leveraging social media, paid social, content marketing and email marketing tactics. 

 

RESULTS
 

  • 2575 minutes of video content viewed 
     

  • +140% uplift in attendance targets for Day 1
     

  • +44% uplift in attendance targets for Day 2
     

  • +7% increase in social media followers
