Rebrand & Marketing Strategy

THE CHALLENGE
The Inspire Africa Conference brings together local and international product and training leaders to drive impact in the African product community. October 2024 was the second edition, which took place in Lagos, Nigeria.  

 

The Ask:

  • New brand identity

  • Raise awareness for the conference and the SVPG Product Masterclass – encourage companies to send their entire product team

  • Excite the continent about product and the learning around it 

  • Support growth of the sister brands tied to the conference

  • Sell enough tickets and sponsorship packages to cover the cost of the conference

WHAT WE DID

  • Rebrand - New logo, website, email and social media assets, sponsorship deck, branding guidelines

  • Sponsorship Package Development incorporating digital elements

  • Marketing Strategy & Campaign The strategy has focused on building an engaged community on Linkedin & X through video content, giveaways, online events, collaborative content creation with sponsors, sales outreach. Linkedin & X is where the target audience resides but up until now had not been places where the brand had nurtured an engaged community.

  • Website Simplified the content on the website, new UX and UI, applied the new branding. Established tracking and pixel integrations to optimise paid social activity.

  • CRM /  Data collection tactics - Sponsorship deck download and book giveaway.

  • Email Marketing

 

RESULTS

  • ​Exceeded ticket sales target by 10%

  • Email subscribers grew by +47%

  • Social Media Follower Growth  +191% Linkedin +212% X, +6% Facebook, +3% Instagram

  • Social Media Reach 1.37m

  • Gained significant media coverage  - Tech Cabal, Pulse NG, Vanguard, Tech Point Africa, ThisDayLive The Guardian , Premium Times , Leadership Nigeria
